It's not allowed to be Tuesday until I'm done with all the crap I have to do this week!!! (There's more than one way to be neurotic!)

I think in your position, I would find a computer game to go hide in until Tuesday rolls around.

Apparently it's Tuesday in some sense. I found copies in the local Barnes & Noble outlet, and picked up one right away. The cover is even nicer at full-size!

Bookstores aren't supposed to put things out before the street date, but in practice, stuff gets shelved as it arrives -- unless it's a big title (e.g. the Harry Potter books).
