I actually had a team mate who used to do that. She found, quite by accident, that she played better when she had fire engine read on her toenails, and thought it was because her opponents got momentarily distracted.
<shrug> Never wanted to. Mostly I figure it's because, by the time I reached an age where I might want to, I was in pointe shoes, and my feet were tools to be abused, rather than things to be pampered.
I was eighteen before anybody even gave me a foot massage -- and boy, was that a weird experience.
I never polished my toenails, until I started doing kendo, of all things. It started as kind of a joke.
You know... bwahahaha, I am dressed like a fearsome samurai and am about to beat you with this really big sword... but don't my toes look pretty?

I got a pedicure for your wedding, with siberian blue nail polish! :P
And sparkly.
Have a blast in Vegas!
Why never before, though? The toes, not the Vegas.

Well go with the pampering!
I painted my toes faintly blue for my wedding too...
and one of my ex-special-ops friends looked down and said "Last time I saw toenails that color, they were on a corpse." Happy wedding memories. :lol:
::waggles toes at you::
Yours?
